Setting up L2TP access on Android handsets.The following instructions will guide you through a manual connection of the VPNUK VPN service on the Android hansdets.
1. Menu
First, click onto the Menu button.
2. Settings
Click onto the 'Settings' button.
3. Go to 'Wireless & Networks'.
Next, select 'Wireless & Networks'.
4. VPN Setting
Next, select 'VPN Setting'.
5. Set up the VPN connection
Click onto 'Add VPN'.
6. Choose the Connection Type
On the next screen, choose 'Add PPTP VPN'.
7. VPN name
Select VPN name'.
8. Name the VPN
Enter a name for the VPN connection'.
9. VPN Server
Select 'Set VPN server'.
10. Enter the server information
Now, enter the server address of the server you are connecting to and click 'OK'.
11. Add the IPSEC key
Select 'Set IPSec pre-shared key'.
12. Insert the IPSEC key
Enter the IPSec key '69000903'.
13. Save
Hit the 'Menu' button and select 'Save'.
14. Connect
Click 'Connect' from the list of available VPN accounts.
15. Enter login details
When prompted enter your VPNUK login details and click onto 'Connect'.
16. Connection status
The connection status should come up as 'Connecting'.
17. Connection status
Once connected the connection status should come up as 'Connected'.
18. Thats It!
You have now successfully setup a PPTP VPN connection on the VPNUK server. To connect and disconnect in the future, follow steps 8 -10.
19. Disconnecting the VPN
Tap the VPN name if you would like to disconnect the VPN.
