Setting up your access using the VPNUK Connection Manager under Windows 7.
The following instruction is for the VPNUK Connection Manager on Windows 7.
1. Download the Connection Manager
Click onto the following link to download the latest version of our Connection Manager.

1: Extract the setup file to the desktop and double click it to open it.

2. Connecting to the Server
The recommended server setting for VPNUK servers is L2TP, select L2TP/IPSEC from the dropdown and click 'Connect'.

3. Click Properties
Enter your username and password, check the save username and password checkbox and click 'Properties'.

4. Select Options
In the property window, enter your VPNUK server IP or DNS address then click onto the 'Options' tab.

5. Options - Disable Windows Domain.
Remove the tick from the 'Inlclude Windows logon domain' dialing options if there is one and click onto the 'Security' tab.

6. Advanced Settings
Click onto the 'Advanced Settings' button.

7. Set the Pre shared Key
In the 'IPsec Settings' dialog, click the radio button labeled 'Use pre shared key for authentication'. Then type 69000903 into the text box labeled 'Key'. Then click the 'OK' button.

8. Connecting to VPNUK Servers
Uncheck 'Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6)' from the connection items selection and click the 'OK' button.

9. Connect
Click Connect!

10. Thats It!
You have now successfully setup an L2TP VPN connection on the VPNUK server. To connect and disconnect in the future, double click onto the VPNUK Connection manager on the dektop.
