iPhone & iPad VPN — IKEv2 Built-in
iOS has a built-in IKEv2 VPN client — no app required. IKEv2 is fast and reconnects automatically when switching between Wi-Fi and mobile data.
Where are my VPN credentials?
Your VPN username and password are in the Members Area under VPNUK Account Details. These are different from your Members Area login.

Open VPN Settings
Go to Settings → General → VPN & Device Management → VPN. Tap Add VPN Configuration…

Set Connection Type
Set Type to
IKEv2. Enter a description such as VPNUK.3
Enter Server Details
Server: Enter your VPNUK server, e.g.
Remote ID: Enter the same server address
Local ID: Leave blank
your-server.vpnuk.netRemote ID: Enter the same server address

Set Authentication
Set User Authentication to
Enter your VPNUK VPN username and password from the Members Area under VPNUK Account Details.

Connect
Tap Done, then tap the status toggle next to VPNUK to connect. The VPN icon appears in the status bar when active.
Your server hostname is shown in your Members Area under VPNUK Account Details. Shared IP users may choose any server from the list; Dedicated IP users must use their assigned server hostname only.
