iPhone & iPad VPN — L2TP / IPSec

iOS has a built-in L2TP/IPSec VPN client. No apps required — set it up directly in Settings. You'll need your VPN credentials and the VPNUK shared secret.

Where are my VPN credentials?

Your VPN username and password are in the Members Area under VPNUK Account Details. These are different from your Members Area login.

Open VPN Settings

Go to Settings → General → VPN & Device Management → VPN. Tap Add VPN Configuration…

Set Type to L2TP

Set Type to L2TP. Enter VPNUK as the description.

Enter Server and Account

Server: e.g. your-server.vpnuk.net
Account: Your VPNUK VPN username
Password: Your VPNUK VPN password
Secret: 69000903

Connect

Tap Done. Toggle the VPN on from the VPN settings screen or from Settings → VPN.

Note: L2TP is an older protocol. For best performance we recommend the VPNUK App or IKEv2.
