Setup Steps
Open the Control Panel
Click Start → Control Panel → Network and Internet → Network and Sharing Centre.
Set up a new connection
Click Set up a new connection or network → Connect to a workplace → Use my Internet connection (VPN).
Enter your server address
Enter your VPNUK server address in the Internet address field. Name it VPNUK L2TP. Click Create.
Set VPN type to L2TP
Go to Change adapter settings. Right-click VPNUK L2TP → Properties → Security. Set Type of VPN to Layer 2 Tunnelling Protocol with IPSec (L2TP/IPSec).
Enter pre-shared key
Click Advanced settings. Select Use preshared key for authentication. Enter: ${psk}. Click OK.
Connect
Right-click the connection → Connect. Enter your VPN username and password from the Members Area under VPNUK Account Details.
Error 809 — cannot connect?
Apply our L2TP Registry Fix (right-click → Run as administrator), restart your PC and try again.
